Blue rock review release parties
What a day! The Blue Rock Review book release party was a smash. We were packed full with artists, editors, readers, and friends. This is one of our favorite things — artists converging and people engaging the work and each other! The studio became a gallery featuring works by the artists in the book. On stage we heard from writers Danny Schmidt, Carrie Elkin, and Sam Baker, as well as poets Sarah Cortez, Neil Orts, and Sarah Webb. The day also featured painters Denny McCoy and Doug Jaques, as well as photographers Bob Phillips, Rodney Bursiel, and more.
